Andre Mizrahi
He founded the House of Mizrahi in 1992 and has reigned as the father of the house since then, tirelessly taking care of his children and offering them unconditional love and support.
On February 27, 1999, he appeared as a contestant on Amateur Night on It’s Showtime at the Apollo. He vogued and was declared the winner.
In 2012, he was recognized by Georgia state Rep. Keisha Waites for his “commitment to care for the lives of young black gay men and transgender individuals, who oftentimes have been abandoned by their biological families, leaving them no place to call home.”
